I just wanted to post a new topic about the site and my involvement in it...

For the past few months I've actually been mulling over the idea of closing the site. Every time I think I will do so, I end up reading a new piece of news or seeing a Brittany movie and am then reminded of how much I do love her.

I am not going to close this website, forum, gallery in any way. I am starting to think of Brittany's lack of public appearances and talk show rounds are a blessing in disguise - and I will start to catch up on the massive list of things that need to be added to the site... I mean, if she was super busy and out all the time, I would never have the chance to catch up on movie captures and stuff, so its a good thing? lol

So although the updates may seem lame at times, I am not giving up on this site and there will be always be something new to add here. I want to thank the genuine fans that continue to come here, honestly, without knowing that you all are here, I would of probably given up long ago. 

Let's head into the fifth year of this site on a good note and happy that there's a rush of new Brittany dvd's to buy now!

Yes, I still love her acting! And I couldn't imagine leaving us fans "homeless" so to speak - since all the other Brittany sites vanished...

So, me and the site, will be here to stay!

I just wanted to post back into this topic to re-state the me, this website, forum and gallery are here to stay! I am going to keep this place open as a tribute to Brittany and everything that she accomplished in her career.

Things will be slow here in 2010, I'm sure, once the shock of her passing is gone. I will continue to add to the photo and video archives as well any fan art that I receive... Speaking of, if you have created any icons or fan banners that you want to be shared on the site, please feel free to email them to me.

In terms of comments and forum registrations... I am putting everything on admin approval indefinitely! While I must admit that most comments on the website since Brittany's passing have been really, really positive and heart-warming; I have received and declined a handful of hurtful and very inappropriate comments, especially from a few former members or "fans" as they call themselves. For this reason, I have decided that it is necessary for me to read and review every comment from here on out. I don't ever want someone to come here and read something that is disrespectful - I never did when Brittany was alive and that will not change just because she is not around.

So just to review, please only post respectful things here. Please no bashing of Brittany, her life, her family, her friends, etc...

I really do appreciate all the out-pouring of support from the members who have joined recently, thank you for being here and being real fans. And of course, all the veteran members of the board and website deserve a really big hug for being some of the nicest fans of a celebrity that I have met.

Thank you for continuing to support our beloved Brittany and this website. In this time of darkness, when I come here and see you all posting these very nice things on the forum and site, it does make me smile and remember Brittany in the best way possible.

Thank you for keeping the site up. Brittany definitely deserves something that celebrates everything she did in her career and a place where fans can relive and share memories of her. It is unfortunate of how disrespectful some people can be and I understand how hard it is having to approve every comment, so thank you for taking time to do that.

I'm looking forward to chatting with everyone here and I'll definitely make some fanart (mostly icons) and send them in.

Jennifer: You truly are a great webmiss. I love how protective you are of her! I honestly hope that Brittany had a chance to visit this wonderful site.
I just read the comments that were posted before her death...I hope she felt the love from you guys.(the true fans)

I'm glad that you kept this site going. Her fans have a place to call home and it's a way to support her projects coming out this year.
It's a shame you never had the chance to meet her.

I will be taking a break from this website!

I just need to not be here for a while... I have been overwhelmed by the news/gossip surrounding Brittany and her family and stuff. Its just too much for me now. I would rather not come here everyday and take a leave of absence for a while.

The site, forum, gallery, etc. will remain open and I will try to moderate comments and the forums, but I won't be here as often. I just need a break.

Sorry everyone, but I hope to be back working on the site soon.

I'm sorry to hear that Jennifer. I know the rumors and bad press bother you and I know how protective you are of her. Brittany is truly lucky to have a fan like you!

I'm sure it's hard, but try not to let it get to you.

I'm sorry to hear that too! But I know the feeling, it is hard to hear all that shit the paparazzi is saying, especially (or it is like that with me) when you're still grieving.

It is hard not to let these things get to you. I hope Jennifer will be back as soon as possible. If I could I'd shield you all and Brittany's loved ones, from the pain that those words cause, with the impenetrable fortress of my heart, where she resides, and which is lit with her light now. 

If I'm allowed, I'll be here to the end.
